Pray for Our Ministry

Ask God to anoint our ministry to people with special needs during our 2011 Summer Camps.

Pray for our 2011 Summer Camp guests. Ask God to open their eyes and ears to the presentation of the gospel and grace of Jesus Christ at Camp.

Pray that many will trust Christ as Savior and recommit their lives to him. Ask God to encourage and enable every camper to grow spiritually.

Ask God to give wisdom, strength, and creativity to our ministry team as we plan and prepare for our 2011 Summer Camps.

Pray for Brian Robison (Director at The Pines) as he supervises everything that happens at our Whispering Pines Conference & Retreat Center. In addition to our Summer Camps, we host guest groups who come to The Pines to enjoy retreats, reunions, and meetings. Pray for Brian, his family, and Staff as they provide "mountain hospitality" all year long.

Pray for Dave Shackelford (Executive Director) as he networks and serves alongside the entire ministry team in the areas of donor cultivation, fundraising events, partnerships, new ministry opportunities, and community awareness. Ask God to give him wisdom, discernment, vision, creativity, and direction.  Pray for Dave as he provides leadership and vision for our nonprofit, The Pines, and the ministry team.

Pray for Karen Gwynn (Office Manager) as she works hard to keep things running smoothly at our Modesto office. She is responsible for accounts payable, invoicing, receivables and contributions, phone calls, and other important tasks.

Pray for Sam Mellor (Summer Camps Director) and Anthony Lopez (Associate Camps Director) as they make preparations for our 2011 Summer Camps. Ask God to give them wisdom, creativity, ideas, and strength.

Pray for individuals and guest groups as they gather for retreats, family reunions, and meetings at The Pines.

Ask God to bless our partners and friends for their prayers, generosity, service, and encouragement.

Ask God to enlarge our circle of influence and ministry in the valley and mountains so that more people hear and respond to the gospel and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior.

Pray for our Board of Directors, Staff, volunteers, and friends of the ministry.

Pray for husbands, wives, and children in families within your circle of influence. Ask God to deepen and intensify their love for each other.

Ask God to strengthen your marriage and ministry. Pray for your spouse, friends, family, church, and neighbors.

Pray for your home church, pastors, elders, and the entire congregation. Ask God to direct your steps, work through your ministries, and bless your relationships.

Tell God how much you love and need him. Pour out your heart to him. Ask him to encourage and help you grow spiritually you through your daily reading and study of the Bible and prayer times.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus . . .forever. - Ephesians 3:20-21
