Andy Mandeson

Facilitites/Caretaker.

Karin has been happily married for 23 years to Kevin and they have an eleven year old son, Gabriel.  He is in the 6th grade and is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. She volunteers at school in the classroom and is treasurer of the PTA.  Both Karin and her husband are Sunday school teachers and volunteer for many other jobs at church.  She likes to read and spend time at the beach.

I am a Father of two who has been married for twenty years. I have a great passion for three things; Serving the Lord, My family, and serving others, which I am blessed to be able to do in many ways.  I am a Pastor at Village Christian Fellowship in Empire Ca, and a State Representative for Celebrate Recovery. I love to make others happy and I get to do this through cooking.  Good food brings joy and encourages great fellowship. So come let's eat.

Andy Mandeson started in August as our new on-site Facility Caretaker. He has jumped right in and is learning quickly everything that needs to be maintained..

Heather Crooker

Marketing & Events Coordinator​


Heather Crooker graduated from Bethany University with a degree in Business Administration.  She was hired by Christian Berets in 2013 as the Events Coordinator. Heather handles all bookings for the facility, other than the summer camp.  Heather and her husband, Russell, have two sons, Elijah and Everest.

About Our Team

Christian Berets is a non-profit, non-denominational corporation accountable to the Board of Directors.


The Executive Director is responsible for its day to day operation with the support of a year-round Office Manager and Marketing/Events Coordinator.  


During Summer, the Program Director and Activities Coordinator provide immense support along with our counselors and support staff who make our Camp for Special possible.


We are also blessed to have many volunteers who offer their time and services to us throughout the year.
